  • Patent number: 5251517
Abstract: A harmonica is comprised of three components, namely a housing shell, a lid and a sounding board. The lid snaps into engagement with the housing shell and, when so engaged, urges the sounding board against internal walls on the housing shell which define reed compartments.

  • Patent number: 4523509
Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic shoulder arm, such as a machine gun, which can be changed over to semi-automatic fire, burst and automatic fire. In order to reduce the ammunition consumption in the automatic fire mode and to increase the hit rate, the weapon is provided with a mechanism regulating the cyclic rate of fire (27, 21 to 25) which reduces the cyclic rate of fire in the automatic fire position by means of a deceleration member (27) releasing the next shot. A hammer (14) acting upon a firing pin (10) when a shot is released is preferably releasable by deceleration member (27), which hammer is provided with an additional detent (24) being effective in the automatic fire position and disengageable by deceleration member (27) via a deceleration release lever (21). (FIG. 2a).

  • Patent number: 4512236
Abstract: The invention relates to a sound dampened automatic hand firearm provided with silencing means for the firing of projectiles at a muzzle velocity in the subsonic speed range. In order to reduce also the breechblock noise during shot release, in addition to the muzzle noise and the projectile boom, a locking lever (18) is provided for locking the closed breechblock during discharge of the weapon. Preferably, the locking lever (18) is pivotable about an axis (19) oriented transversely to the barrel axis (24) and is held out of engagement by a spring (20). Associated with the trigger system is a catch (15) which causes the locking lever (18) to be pivoted into the locking position as the trigger (6) is being pulled. The catch (15) is pivotably mounted on the trigger (6).

  • Patent number: 4505336
Abstract: The invention relates to a fire extinguisher comprising a low-pressure tank (1) for the fire-inhibiting liquid (40) and a high-pressure tank (23) for spray propellant gas, situated in the low-pressure tank, where upon opening the high-pressure tank, the propellant expels the fire-inhibiting liquid, which is discharged through a nozzle (44). In order to permit fighting fires effectively from a greater distance than hitherto, in this fire extinguisher a pressure regulating valve (13) is arranged between the outlet of the spray propellant gas container (23) and the liquid reservoir of the low-pressure tank (1), which valve maintains the pressure of the propellant gas prevailing in the low-pressure tank after triggering and expelling fire-inhibiting liquid (40) through nozzle (44) at a preset level.

  • Patent number: 4450751
Abstract: In a fire limiter for automatic firearms with hammer blow detonation, a pawl (38) is supported pivotally directly on a bearing on the hammer arranged eccentrically to the latter's pivoting axis (1). The pawl transfers essentially the entire striking motion of the hammer to a wheel ratchet, which at every shot rotates by one tooth and is held in any given position by a spring-loaded stop pawl. The wheel ratchet is provided with a cam which, after a predetermined number of intermittent stops, activates a fire disconnector which preferably comprises a trip-releasing catch (26), supported pivotally on the trigger (16), and a sear (12), supported pivotally on the same shaft (14) as the trigger (16). The catch (26) initially latches the sear (12) and is pulled away from the sear (12) by the wheel ratchet, whereby the sear is released to drop into a detent (11) on the hammer (2).
