  • Patent number: 11606612
Abstract: A media presentation and distribution system communicatively coupled to a client device is provided. The client device receives a media stream from the media presentation and distribution system via a network. The media stream includes media content and one or more tags. The client device further identifies in the received media content, the one or more tags, which corresponds to the overlay-graphic items. The client device further identifies candidate time-periods in the media content based on the one or more tags in the media content. At least one presentation attribute for the overlay-graphic items is identified based on the one or more tags in the media content. The client device further presents the overlay-graphic items at the candidate time-periods on the media content based on a degree of correlation between the identified tag in the media content and a corresponding context for the media content at the candidate time-period.

  • Patent number: 11604977
Abstract: This application relates to computing circuitry (200), in particular for analogue computing circuitry suitable for neuromorphic computing. The circuitry (200) has a plurality of memory cells (201), each memory cell having an input electrode (201) for receiving a cell input signal and an output (203P, 203N) for outputting a cell output signal (IP, IN), with first and second paths connecting the input electrode to the output. The cell output signal thus depends on a differential current between the first and second paths due to the cell input signal. Each memory cell also comprises at least one programmable-resistance memory element (204) in each of the first and second paths and is controllable, by selective programming of the programmable-resistance memory elements, to store a data digit that can take any of at least three different values.

  • Patent number: 11602828
Abstract: A screw bit body allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates an additional gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the bracing surface. Additionally, the engagement cavity traverses into the screw bit body from the first base to the second base. The engagement cavity is specifically positioned offset from the first lateral edge by a first distance.

  • Patent number: 11604747
Abstract: Systems and methods for communication between heterogenous processors via a virtual network interface implemented via programmable hardware and one or more buses. The programmable hardware may be configured with a multi-function bus such that the programmable hardware appears as both a network device and a programmable device to a host system. Additionally, the programmable hardware may be configured with a second bus to appear as a network device to an embedded system. Each system may implement network drivers to allow access to direct memory access engines configured on the programmable hardware. The configured programmable hardware and the network drivers may enable a virtual network connection between the systems to allow for information transfer via one or more network communication protocols.

  • Patent number: 11605070
Abstract: A payment processing server generates an asymmetric cryptographic key pair, over one secure communications channel providing a mobile device with one cryptographic key of the cryptographic key pair, and saves another cryptographic key of the cryptographic key pair in a pending transaction database in unique association with a single-use payment number and a financial account. The server encrypts the payment number, which does not identify the financial account, with the another cryptographic key and provides the mobile device with the encrypted payment number over another secure communications channel distinct from the one secure communications channel. • Patent number: 11604266
Abstract: A method for developing a map of objects in a region surrounding a location is disclosed. The method includes interrogating the region along a detection axis with a series of optical pulses and detecting reflections of the optical pulses that originate at objects located along the detection axis. A multi-dimensional map of the region is developed by scanning the detection axis about the location in at least one dimension. The reflections are detected via a single-photon detector that is armed using a sub-gating scheme such that the single-photon detector selectively detects photons of reflections that originate only within each of a plurality of zones that collectively define the detection field. In some embodiments, the optical pulses have a wavelength within the range of 1350 nm to 1390 nm, which is a spectral range having a relatively high eye-safety threshold and a relatively low solar background.

  • Patent number: 11606760
Abstract: A radio node may transmit a signal using a transmit power. Then, the radio node may adjust the transmit power within a range of values. The adjustment may include reducing the transmit power when a spatial received signal strength indication (RSSI) metric of the radio node is greater than a first threshold value and a coverage criterion is met. Note that the spatial RSSI metric of the radio node may correspond to a set of temporal RSSI metrics of the radio node received from neighboring radio nodes. Moreover, the coverage criterion may be that less than a portion of RSSI measurements of the radio node associated with electronic devices, which are communicatively attached with the radio node, is less than a second threshold value. Alternatively, the adjustment may include increasing the transmit power when the spatial RSSI metric is less than the first threshold value.
