    Abstract: Methods and systems for encoder parameter setting optimization. A media item to be provided to one or more users of a platform is identified. The media item is associated with a media class. An indication of the identified media item is provided as input to a first machine learning model. The first machine learning model is trained to predict, for a given media item, a set of encoder parameter settings that satisfy a performance criterion in view of a respective media class associated with the given media item. One or more outputs of the first machine learning model are obtained. The one or more obtained outputs include encoder data identifying one or more sets of encoder parameter settings and, for each of the sets of encoder parameter settings, an indication of a level of confidence that a respective set of encoder parameter settings satisfies the performance criterion in view of the media class associated with the identified media item.

    Abstract: A cable tie application tool is described that includes an electro-mechanical tensioning system. When the electro-mechanical tensioning system is controlled by a processor to tighten a cable, a reactionary force through a drive nut that is pivotally mounted to a tension bar can be monitored and measured by a strain gauge, a load cell, or other sensing system. This reactionary force is an indication of tension on the cable tie and is monitored by the processor until the tension reaches a predetermined tension, at which point, the processor causes a motor in the tensioning system to stop increasing the tension on the cable tie. The processor activates a cut-off system to cut the cable tie that has been tightened to the predetermined tension.

The method includes determining a plurality of Wi-Fi networks of the cluster that are enabled for cooperative optimization. Also, the method includes assigning a Wi-Fi channel selected from a plurality of available Wi-Fi channels to each of the wireless transceivers associated with the plurality of Wi-Fi networks enabled for cooperative optimization to reduce a total amount of potential interference in the cluster caused by the signal power received from independently-operated wireless transceivers.
