  • Publication number: 20120317633
Abstract: A method for dynamically assigning a displayable realm name begins upon receipt of an authentication request to an application, such as a web application, being executed by an application server. In response, a determination is made whether an application realm name has been set in a configuration file associated with the application. If not, a custom display property is then evaluated. If the custom display property is set true, a realm name associated with an active authentication mechanism is retrieved and provided for display in an authentication panel. If the custom display property is set false, a default string is provided for display in the authentication panel. In this manner, an application server administrator can control what realm name is displayed to an end user in the event an application developer has not specified the realm name in the application configuration.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing real-time scoring of received transaction data. Transaction data describing a particular transaction that has occurred is received. The transaction data is stored in an enterprise database, where the enterprise database is configured to store transactions of disparate types, where the transaction data is stored using a plurality of segments, where a segment is formatted according to a template, and where the template is selected based on an attribute of the transaction, wherein the attribute is a customer attribute, an activity attribute, or a channel attribute. A transaction type of the particular transaction is determined. One or more models are selected from a pool of models based on the transaction type, wherein the one or more models are configured based on a plurality of records from the enterprise database, and a score of the received transaction data is generated based on the transaction data.

Abstract: A retractable guide for loading and unloading snowmobiles, ATVs and other equipment from a trailer or truck bed includes a first portion that is movable relative to a second portion that is fixedly attached to the truck or trailer bed such that the first portion pivotally moves relative to the second portion. The first portion is of a sufficient length such that when the first portion guide is in an extended position a distal edge of the first portion contacts the ground surface to provide a ramp for loading and unloading the ATV, snowmobile or other equipment. The ramp provides a smooth transition from the ground to the bed of the truck or trailer. Once the ATV, snowmobile or other equipment is loaded onto the bed of the trailer or truck, the first portion of the guide is pivotally positioned into a stowed position such that an end gate or other retaining wall can be positioned into a secured vertical position with the ATV, snowmobile or other equipment being positioned on the bed of the trailer or truck.

  • Publication number: 20120317095
Abstract: A method, apparatus and program product that determine a density of a key value referenced in a database query over at least one range of rows, and utilize the determined density to optimize the database query. By doing so, the density of various key values may be determined and compared, and a bit map may be generated over the range of rows of the key value that is denser, resulting in a reduction of resources to build and use the bit map. Moreover, from the bit map over the range of rows to be selected after using the determined density, dense regions may be identified that can be used to optimize block I/O's according to the number of rows to be selected based on the query.
