Abstract: A conduit coupling having in one embodiment a coupling body, a union nut adapted to slip over the free end of the coupling body, and a clip cooperative with a special configuration of the coupling body to engage the nut and prevent its inadvertent separation from the body. Various forms of clip are disclosed. In another embodiment of the coupling the body includes an annular section having a raised portion, a resilient band mounted upon the annular section, and a ring having a venting opening and rotatable upon the band to vent the interior of the coupling whenever the venting opening is out of alignment with the raised portion.
