Abstract: A structure for optical connections comprises parallel, elongated, supports. Each support carries on one face a row of optical connecting boxes and on the other face, level with each box, a first guide for guiding the optical linking fibers for connecting the boxes, and a second guide for guiding these fibers, connecting the supports and positioned facing boxes of the same level in said supports, the first guide enabling the linking fibers to traverse the supports both lengthwise and widthwise. Such a structure makes it possible to establish links from telecommunications centers or exchanges to users.
