  • Patent number: 8539818
Abstract: A method for leak testing a vessel is described. The method includes providing an environment within the vessel that is at a lower humidity than the environment surrounding the vessel, and using a thermographic imaging system to identify any leaks associated with the vessel. The leaks are identified based on evaporative cooling that occurs when a portion of the lower humidity environment escapes from the vessel and mixes with the higher humidity environment surrounding the vessel.
