  • Patent number: 11950127
Abstract: Systems and method are disclosed herein that relate to support for virtual Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) bridge management, Quality of Service (QoS) mapping, and TSN related scheduling in a cellular communications system. In some embodiments, a method performed by one or more network nodes of a cellular communications system operating as a virtual TSN bridge of a TSN network comprises providing, to a controller associated with the TSN network, parameters that relate to capabilities of the virtual TSN bridge. The parameters that relate to the capabilities of the virtual TSN bridge comprise a first parameter that defines a clock accuracy of an entity in the cellular communications system that operates gating control for the virtual TSN bridge and a second parameter that informs the controller associated with the TSN network that the virtual TSN bridge or a particular egress port of the virtual TSN bridge is restricted to exclusive gating.

  • Patent number: 11941997
Abstract: A device for providing an indication of brushing activity of a toothbrush comprises an accelerometer configured to produce acceleration data from motion of the toothbrush, and components for filtering the acceleration data to produce gravitational components and filtering the acceleration data to produce linear acceleration components. The device further comprises a component for projecting the gravitational components and the linear acceleration components into an n-dimensional space, where and for performing a clustering process on the projections of gravitational components and linear acceleration components into n-dimensional space to produce clustering results. The clustering results comprise a plurality of clusters each of which represents a brushing area.

  • Publication number: 20230301424
Abstract: A toothbrush device is disclosed comprising a motion sensor for sensing motion of the device to produce motion data and a signal analysis unit for analysing the motion data to produce brushing data. A light communication module is arranged to transmit the brushing data to an external device using a light source. This can allow the brushing data to be transmitted without the need to provide a radio frequency transmission module and/or using a light source which also provides visual feedback to the user. The external device may comprise a camera arranged to produce image data, and a processor arranged to process an image of the light source to obtain the brushing data.

  • Publication number: 20220331079
Abstract: An electric toothbrushing device is disclosed, the device comprising means (16) for producing vibration of a toothbrush head (14), means (24, 32, 40, 42, 44) for producing an orientation signal indicating of an area of the mouth being brushed, and means (47, 48, 49) for producing a pressure signal indicating a pressure applied to the toothbrush head. The device further comprises processing means (46) arranged to link values of the orientation signal with values of the pressure signal in order to provide feedback to a user regarding a brushing pressure applied to each of a plurality of different areas of the mouth. By linking values of the orientation signal with values of the pressure signal, the user can be better informed about which parts of the mouth are being or have been brushed too hard. This can help the user to correct their brushing technique.

  • Publication number: 20210186196
Abstract: An electric toothbrushing device is disclosed, the device comprising vibration means for producing vibration of a toothbrush head and a controller for controlling the vibration means. The device also comprises a motion sensor for sensing motion of the toothbrushing device to produce motion data, and a signal analysis unit for analysing the motion data to produce a feedback signal. The controller is arranged to adjust the vibration produced by the vibration means in dependence on the feedback signal. Such a configuration can be used to improve the feedback provided to the user and/or help to correct deficiencies in the user's brushing technique.

  • Patent number: 7155795
Abstract: A surgical blade package facilitates the mounting of a surgical blade on to the forwardly-projecting cleat on a scalpel handle; and following use in the O.R., the surgical blade package facilitates stripping the used blade off the scalpel for disposal in a sharps container. The cleat is inserted beneath the rear end portion of the blade, and between the blade and the bottom wall of the blade package; and forward and upward movement of the scalpel snaps the blade on to the scalpel in a continuous movement. The opposite procedure is used to demount the used blade from the scalpel and encase it in the original blade package for disposal in a sharps container.

  • Patent number: 4903422
Abstract: A license plate frame assembly is disclosed for displaying and projecting a vehicle license plate or identification tag. The assembly includes a generally rectangular frame with a rearwardly extending wall portion and an open center portion. A transparent plate abuts the frame and is confined within the wall portion to cover the open center. A rear panel, also confined within the wall portion, sandwiches the license plate between the transparent plate and the rear panel. The frame is secured from the rear portion thereof, fasteners being extended through a generally planar surface thereof, thereby preventing its unauthorized removal.

  • Patent number: 4186916
Abstract: A precision workpiece positioner in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped has divided extensions projecting beyond one surface thereof for entry into the mouth of a locator slot in a machine tool table. Tapered expanders spread the divided extensions into positive engagement with the mouth of the slot. A screw engaged with the workpiece positioner draws a T-nut into tight locking engagement with the table which has a T-cross section. The positioner may be used in association with a workpiece clamp or plural positioners engaged in parallel table slots can align longer workpieces for machining.
