    Abstract: A cartridge for an electronic cigarette comprises: a liquid store arranged to contain a liquid to be vaporised; a vaporization chamber having at least one opening arranged to connect the vaporization chamber to the liquid store; a vaporising unit; and a pair of electric terminals connected to the heating element. The vaporising unit comprises: a fluid transfer element arranged to transfer liquid between the liquid store and the vaporization chamber; and a heating element arranged inside the vaporization chamber and arranged to heat a liquid transferred to the vaporization chamber by the fluid transfer element. The pair of electric terminals comprise a first connection plate and a second connection plate which are connected to a first end and a second end of the heating element, respectively, and the first and the second connection plates are arranged on a first side of the vaporization chamber.

This provides an improved seal around the fluid transfer element to minimize leakage into the vaporization chamber.

The first part is positioned with respect to the induction coil so that it is inductively heated by the electromagnetic field and the second part is positioned with respect to the induction coil so that it is not inductively heated by the electromagnetic field. The induction heating assembly further includes a temperature sensor in contact with the second part of the inductively heatable susceptor.
