  • Publication number: 20140327648
Abstract: An input device includes a first electrically conductive surface and a second electrically conductive surface. The first and second surfaces are arranged at a distance from each other. The first surface is configured as an operating surface so that a pressure on a touch point deforms the first surface at the touch point such that the first surface and the second surface come into contact at the touch point and a current path is created over a part of the first surface to the touch point and from the touch point over a part of the second surface. The device also includes an analysis unit that is configured to measure a voltage value along the current path and to ascertain a position value from the voltage value. The device further includes a current-activation unit that is coupled to the first surface and configured to be synchronized with the analysis unit.

  • Patent number: 7151537
Abstract: A method and a device for correcting the phase between the pixel clock of a graphics card and the sampling clock of a flat-panel display with an analog interface in a system including a flat-panel display, graphics card, and computer. Automatic adjustment of the phase is performed repeatedly. In the process, the rising edge of a video pulse of a sufficiently bright image spot in the first image column close to the back-porch region is determined. The falling edge of a video pulse is determined at a sufficiently bright image spot in the last image column close to the front-porch region, and the phase is adjusted such that the sampling instant is situated approximately at the midpoint between the rising and falling edges of a video pulse.

  • Patent number: 6750855
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for matching the phase between the pixel clock of a graphics card and the sampling clock of a flat-panel display with an analog interface in a system comprising flat-panel display, graphics card and computer. Herein the rising edge of a video pulse of a sufficiently bright image spot in the first image column close to the back-porch region is determined. The falling edge of a video pulse at a sufficiently bright image spot in the last image column close to the front-porch region is determined, and the phase is adjusted such that the sampling instant is situated approximately at the midpoint between the rising and falling edges of a video pulse.

  • Patent number: 6693628
Abstract: A method for monitoring the setting of the phase between the pixel clock rate of a graphics card and the sampling clock rate of a flat screen having an analog interface includes the steps of setting a flag if the phase of the flat screen has been set by the user. The flag is interrogated upon switching on the flat screen and/or upon a change of the video mode at a computer and/or an exchange of the graphics card and/or upon an exchange of the computer. A display is provided or a setting of the phase is initiated if, during the interrogation, it is ascertained that the flag is not set. A device for monitoring the setting of the phase between the pixel clock rate of the graphics card and the sampling clock rate of the flat screen is also provided.
