  • Publication number: 20060254131
Abstract: The invention includes a method of improving the combustion efficiency of a fuel-burning device. The method includes the steps of adding a low molecular weight polymer to the fuel of the fuel-burning device and burning the fuel with the polymer in the fuel-burning device. The invention also includes fuel compositions containing such polymers.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 27, 2006
    Publication date: November 16, 2006
    Inventors: Paul Waters, John Waters
  • Publication number: 20060259230
Abstract: The invention includes an additive injection system for automatically metering a liquid fuel additive into the fuel supply of a fuel-burning device. The additive injection system may be adapted to obtain a fuel value from a fuel pump to maintain a constant additive concentration in the fuel over a series of random fuel depletion and refueling cycles, such as by communicating with one or more networks in communication with the fuel pump.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 14, 2006
    Publication date: November 16, 2006
Inventors: Paul Waters, John Waters, Robert Lauchner
  • Publication number: 20060254536
Abstract: The invention includes an additive injection system for automatically metering a liquid fuel additive into the fuel supply of a fuel burning device. The additive injection system may be adapted to maintain a constant additive concentration in the fuel over a series of random fuel depletion and refueling cycles. Further, the additive injection system may be in communication with an engine control module to precisely determine the amount of fuel that has been consumed.

  • Publication number: 20060155635
Abstract: Financial instrument trade systems and methods are disclosed. Trade data is processed at a plurality of match servers. Trade data that remains unmatched may be stored in one or more aging queues. Trade data is periodically retrieved from the aging queues and attempts are made to match the unmatched trades. As time progresses from the time that trade data from a particular trade is stored in an aging queue, the match criteria used to match the trade is relaxed. Fault tolerant mechanisms are also disclosed for allowing operational match servers to take over the operations of failed components or servers.

  • Patent number: 6338088
Abstract: A service creation system for a communications network of the intelligent network type has 3 different levels at which service creation activities can be carried out, these being SCE1, SCE2 and SCE3. The use of separate levels allows access to the service creation system to be kept functionally separate for users having different interests in the network. Hence, features which have to be installed at the network element level for a selected service to be available can be created in SCE1. Marketable service features, which give a view of features in that they encapsulate call handling logic thereof together with support and management descriptions of the feature, can be created in SCE2. Service packages, which permit collection of marketable service features to meet requirements of a service together with servicespecific support and management information, can be created in either of SCE2 or SCE3.

  • Patent number: 5911247
Abstract: A Jacquard mechanism for creating a shed in a loom has a plurality of hooks operative to be connected, optionally via one or more other bodies, to yarns in a loom. The hooks are movable between a first position and a second position. A griffe is provided, the griffe being movable along a path so as to engage the hooks when the hooks are in the first position. The Jacquard mechanism also has a plurality of solenoids, each solenoid having a plunger operative to directly engage a hook. Movement of the plunger causes an associated hook to move to the second position wherein it will not be engaged by the griffe as it moves along the path.
