  • Publication number: 20220006938
Abstract: An imaging system and method includes a rolling shutter sensor that captures a plurality of images of a scene, a time-varying illumination source that illuminates the scene, and a processor that receives the plurality of images from the rolling shutter sensor and separates the plurality of images into a plurality of feeds. Each of the plurality of images is captured as a series of lines. The rolling shutter sensor and the time-varying illumination source are operated synchronously to cause a plurality of on-cadence lines of the rolling shutter sensor to receive more illumination from the time-varying illumination source than a plurality of off-cadence lines of the rolling shutter sensor. Each of the plurality of feeds has a different contribution of the time-varying illumination source to an overall illumination of the scene.

  • Patent number: 11159735
Abstract: An imaging system comprises a rolling shutter sensor that captures images of a scene, an illumination source that continuously illuminates the scene, a time-varying illumination source that illuminates the scene, and a processor that receives the images from the rolling shutter sensor. The rolling shutter sensor and the time-varying illumination source are operated synchronously to cause: on-cadence lines of the rolling shutter sensor to receive illumination from the continuously illuminating illumination source and a first amount of illumination from the time-varying illumination source; and off-cadence lines of the rolling shutter sensor to receive the illumination from the continuously illuminating illumination source and a second amount of illumination from the time-varying illumination source.

  • Patent number: 10726126
Abstract: A method for ensuring compliance with organizational policies is described herein. The method can include the step of monitoring one or more parameters of a managed computing device for compliance with one or more policies of an organization in which the organizational policies may include limitations on the managed computing device. The method can also include the step of detecting a non-conformance event at the managed computing device with respect to at least one organizational policy. • Publication number: 20200197072
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting undesirable electrocautery arcing events during an electrocautery surgical procedure may include introducing an electrosurgical treatment instrument to a surgical site to perform an electrocautery surgical procedure. A healthcare provider may view the surgical site with a surgical camera assembly having a surgical field-of-view. The healthcare provider also may view a portion of the electrosurgical treatment instrument with an electrocautery arc detection system including an arc detection camera having an arc detection field-of-view different than the surgical field-of-view obtained by the surgical camera. The electrocautery arc detection system may identify thermal infrared emission or tissue color changes as indicators of undesirable electrocautery arcing. Some implementations alert a healthcare provider of undesirable electrocautery arcing.

  • Patent number: 10662602
Abstract: An automated water control device comprises a rotatable housing that can be incrementally positioned to control flow of water over an upper or weir edge of the housing. The device is installed at a control point in an impoundment area, such as a settling pond. The housing is selectively rotated to raise and lower the height of the weir edge to a target gate height. Automatic control is provided for operation of the device by a controller communicating with an actuator. A system of the invention includes one or more water control devices and the controller. A method of the invention includes controlling flow of water from an impounded water source by use of the automated water control device. Manual or semi-automated embodiments are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10470643
Abstract: A computer implemented method comprises activating a control mechanism on a catheter handle in a first direction with respect to a user to steer a distal end of a catheter within a body in a second direction while the catheter handle is in a first rotational position. The control mechanism includes a first indicator associated with the first direction. The computer implemented method also includes obtaining an image from the distal end of the catheter of a tissue region of interest within the body and calibrating a first rotational motion of the catheter handle with a rotational motion of the image. With the catheter handle in a second rotational position that is different than the first rotational position, the control mechanism activated in the first direction with respect to the user moves the distal end of the catheter in the second direction.
