  • Patent number: 10465941
Abstract: The invention pertains to a filter retaining assembly which is rigid and self-supportive without requiring any additional structural reinforcement. The design maximizes the filter surface to be used for air filtration and increases the filtration efficiency. The invention is also designed to minimize the filter assembly size to fit into the valuable space when the air handling unit physical dimension is constrained. The invention uses integral construction methods to save assembly time and labor by eliminating the need of using alignment holes and fastening each individual frame to construct a conventional filter retaining assembly. The proposed method maintains flexibility of scaling to any filter size and quantity.

  • Patent number: 10416117
Abstract: To form a layer separating two volumes of aqueous solution, there is used an apparatus comprising elements defining a chamber, the elements including a body of non-conductive material having formed therein at least one recess opening into the chamber, the recess containing an electrode. A pre-treatment coating of a hydrophobic fluid is applied to the body across the recess. Aqueous solution, having amphiphilic molecules added thereto, is flowed across the body to cover the recess so that aqueous solution is introduced into the recess from the chamber and a layer of the amphiphilic molecules forms across the recess separating a volume of aqueous solution introduced into the recess from the remaining volume of aqueous solution.

Embodiments may include receiving, at one or more computing devices, an electronic circuit design at a graphical user interface (GUI) and a selection for a component to be placed within the electronic circuit design. Embodiments may also include detecting a change in the position of the selected component to determine when the selected component is moved into a zone of the electronic circuit design. Embodiments may further include determining a component footprint and one or more padstacks associated with the component footprint for the selected component based upon the position of the selected component within the zone of the electronic circuit design. Embodiments may also include rendering the component footprint and the padstacks on the selected component based upon, at least in part, the position of the selected component.

  • Patent number: 10160115
Abstract: A management system (or controller) is configured to send commands to robotic components of different types (e.g., different command types, byte order types, etc.). Once configured, a translation component may be deployed to translate some commands to some robotic components that use a different command type than a native command type used by the management system. The management system uses a native byte order type to create commands, which may be big endian or little endian. While some of the robotic components (e.g., first robotic components) may also use the native byte order type, other robotic components (e.g., second robotic components) may use a non-native byte order type (in relation to the management system). For example, the native byte order type may be big endian while the non-native byte order type may be little endian, or vice versa.
