  • Publication number: 20250093296
Abstract: To form a layer separating two volumes of aqueous solution, there is used an apparatus comprising elements defining a chamber, the elements including a body of non-conductive material having formed therein at least one recess opening into the chamber, the recess containing an electrode. A pre-treatment coating of a hydrophobic fluid is applied to the body across the recess. Aqueous solution, having amphiphilic molecules added thereto, is flowed across the body to cover the recess so that aqueous solution is introduced into the recess from the chamber and a layer of the amphiphilic molecules forms across the recess separating a volume of aqueous solution introduced into the recess from the remaining volume of aqueous solution.

  • Patent number: 12256219
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining whether dissimilar device identifiers in a network actually represent the same physical device. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining first and second sets of operational parameters related to first and second set of devices operating in a section of a network. The first and second sets of operational parameters include first and second sets of device identifiers representing the first and second sets of devices, respectively. The method also includes comparing the first set of device identifiers with the second set of device identifiers to find non-matching device identifiers. With respect to the non-matching device identifiers, the first and second sets of operational parameters are analyzed to determine if a device identifier of the first set of device identifiers and a device identifier of the second set of device identifiers likely represent the same device.

  • Publication number: 20240422534
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable improved network security by authenticating the identity of the user initiating the network activities. A network operations center of a wireless communication network system may implement an authentication service to monitor for network activities initiated via communications through a router of the wireless communication network system. The router may identify communications to be authenticated and provide the communication and/or associated data to the authentication service. The authentication service may analyze the data based on usage and performance data associated with the router(s) as well as user profile data associated with the user to verify that the user is the sender of the communication, thus authenticating the identity of the user. The authentication may then be communicated to third-party entities associated with the network activity to enable such third-party entities to confirm or deny the network activity.

  • Publication number: 20240380663
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that provide a computerized device management framework that adaptively determines and applies security and configuration parameters to a device on a first network, and enables the adaptive application of such parameters as the device disconnects and connects to other networks. The disclosed framework enables the automatic detection of different networks being relied upon by the device for access to the Internet, upon which, management control policies of the device's activities can be controlled and managed in a unified manner. Accordingly, the disclosed framework can enable security and configuration mechanisms applied on a first network, upon which they are associated, to be seamlessly applied on another disparate network via a virtual private network connection enabled via proprietary mechanisms implemented on the device.

  • Publication number: 20240147347
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for using multiple Wi-Fi radios at different frequency bands to maintain full rate through a leaf node. One exemplary method detects when a client device connects to a first Wi-Fi component over a new fronthaul link and determines Wi-Fi communication capabilities of the client device. Based on the Wi-Fi communication capabilities, the method determines which one of the current topology and a new topology of the Wi-Fi network would result in greater throughput of packets through the Wi-Fi network. When it is determined that the new topology would result in greater throughput, the method includes adjusting the topology by designating one of a first radio and a second radio of the first Wi-Fi component for communication over a backhaul link with one or more other Wi-Fi components and designating the other of the first radio and second radio for communication over the new fronthaul link.

  • Publication number: 20240147293
Abstract: Systems and methods for selecting Wi-Fi channels are provided. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining a first measurement of a sojourn time associated with operating a Wi-Fi radio at a first Wi-Fi channel, where the first Wi-Fi channel has a first bandwidth. The sojourn time is a metric related to the length of time that packets are queued before being transmitted within a Wi-Fi network. The method also includes the step of obtaining one or more additional measurements of one or more sojourn times associated with operating the Wi-Fi radio at one or more additional Wi-Fi channels. Each of the one or more additional Wi-Fi channels has a bandwidth that is different from the first bandwidth. Also, the method includes selecting a channel from among the first Wi-Fi channel and the one or more additional Wi-Fi channels based on the bandwidth and sojourn time of each respective channel.
