  • Patent number: 10517979
Abstract: A fragrance dispenser comprises a ceramic outer shell containing a gel composition. The ceramic can be greenware, and can be impregnated with a fragrance, such as in the form of a volatile oil. The gel composition can contain fragrance or deodourisers that can diffuse out of the gel and infuse the surrounding ceramic, from which it can be released into the air. The ceramic cartridge can have indentations to allow it to be retained in a desired location; these can permit the attachment of a plastic mounting clip having a plurality of flexible arms that slot into the indentations to grip and hold the cartridge in place. This mounting clip could then be used to attach the cartridge to suitable surfaces such as a bathroom wall or the interior of a dispenser housing. Furthermore, the cartridge can have a locating recess on one or more of its sides, to receive a mounting post and thereby position the dispenser accurately and inhibit dislodgement.

  • Publication number: 20170143865
Abstract: A dispenser capable of dispensing a fluid via a vertically-oriented piezo device comprises a reservoir containing a fluid to be dispensed, an outlet at a base portion of the reservoir, leading to a dispensing port that comprises a piezo element drivable to vibrate and thereby dispense fluid from the dispensing port, a bleed tube communicating at one end with the dispensing port, extending therefrom to a location above the dispensing port, and including a selectively closeable valve, and a source of below-atmospheric pressure to the portion of the reservoir above the fluid. Embodiments of refills suitable for such a dispensing apparatus are also described.

  • Patent number: 8909802
Abstract: A form of hyperlink is provided comprising a first component identifying a network entity and a scheme by which to communicate with that entity, and a second component comprising a further scheme and further address by means of which to access a resource relative to the network entity identified by the first component. Such hyperlinks support simple and fast sharing of files and, in some cases, support tunnelling through firewalls to achieve this. The invention also provides related data representations, electronic documents, protocols, signals, methods, devices, systems and other apparatus, and programs for computers.
