  • Patent number: 11752492
Abstract: Proposed inventions are a recipe of denitrification-oxidation complex catalyst containing an SCR catalyst and an oxidation catalyst to simultaneously remove nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and ammonia, a manufacturing method thereof, an exhaust gas treatment method using the denitrification-oxidation complex catalyst, and an SCR denitrification system including the denitrification-oxidation complex catalyst. The denitrification-oxidation complex catalyst simultaneously removes nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and ammonia and exhibits an increased catalytic effect compared to the cases where the denitrification catalyst used alone and the denitrification and the oxidation catalyst ratios are and not properly balanced. When the denitrification-oxidation complex catalyst is applied to an SCR denitrification system, the structure is simplified, space is saved, cost is reduced, and catalyst maintenance is easy.

  • Patent number: 7767181
Abstract: A method of ammonia production for a selective catalytic reduction system includes producing a first exhaust flow and a second exhaust flow. The first exhaust flow has a higher NOx concentration than the second exhaust flow. The method also includes directing a portion of the second exhaust flow to a reformer. The method further includes combining the portion of the second exhaust flow directed to the reformer with the first exhaust flow upstream of an ammonia-producing catalyst.

  • Patent number: 7541010
Abstract: A method of making an exhaust treatment element includes washcoating a substrate with a slurry that includes a catalyst support material. At least some of the catalyst support material from the slurry may be transferred to the substrate, and silver metal (Ag) is dispersed within the catalyst support material.

  • Patent number: 7153810
Abstract: A method of making an exhaust treatment catalyst includes dispersing a metal-based material in a first solvent to form a first slurry and allowing polymerization of the first slurry to occur. Polymerization of the first slurry may be quenched and the first slurry may be allowed to harden into a solid. This solid may be redistributed in a second solvent to form a second slurry. The second slurry may be loaded with a silver-based material, and a silver-loaded powder may be formed from the second slurry.
