  • Patent number: 9206300
Abstract: A wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer and compositions including the liquid crystalline polymer are described. The polymer composition can include the liquid crystalline polymer and a fibrous filler, e.g., a chopped glass or milled glass fibrous filler. The compositions are capable of exhibiting excellent mechanical properties. The liquid crystalline polymer provides desirable characteristics with the incorporation of little or no naphthenic acids in the polymer backbone.

  • Publication number: 20140309354
Abstract: Thermoplastic compositions that incorporate a polyarylene sulfide and exhibit reduced volatility are described. Methods for forming the thermoplastic composition are also described as are products that can incorporate the compositions. A formation method can include melt processing the composition and incorporating a molecular sieve in the composition downstream of the addition point for the polyarylene sulfide as well as downstream of additives that could interact with the molecular sieve such as coupling agents.

  • Publication number: 20030069848
Abstract: A user interface is for controlling a computer network. The user interface comprises a device menu, a device selection identifier, function menus, a function selection identifier, and a results screen. The device menu identifies at least some of the devices that comprise the computer network. The device selection identifier provides for selecting one of the devices. The function menus correspond to the devices and identify at least some functions that can be performed in connection with the devices. The function selection identifier corresponds to the function menus that allow an entity to select one of the functions. The user may select one of the devices, and may select one of the functions corresponding to the device that is selected. The results screen displays a result corresponding to a selected function. The user interface can be used in connection with wireless devices or an existing network management systems.

  • Patent number: 3998141
Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for receiving a continuous stream of forms at high speed and automatically stacking the forms into discrete batches of accurate count. The forms are first shingled into a uniform and accurate shingle by spiral screws, kickers, rollers, and hold down tapes which positively and forcefully drive the forms uniformly and accurately onto a conveyor. The forms are then stacked and collected on a vertically reciprocable tray until the desired count is reached, at which time finger hooks intercept and engage the shingle to stop the leading edges of the forms destined for the next batch. A conveyor diverting roller separates the leading edges of the forms for this purpose. Those forms downstream from the finger hooks are then quickly swept onto the elevator tray which deposits them on a discharge conveyor for delivery from the apparatus.
