  • Publication number: 20250352515
Abstract: A topical formulation, comprising: an ointment base; and a mixture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) contained in the ointment base, the mixture of APIs consisting of: Metronidazole; Ivermectin; and Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) oil. The APIs are about 0.12%-6% w/w and the ointment base is about 94% to 99% w/w of the topical formulation. The formulation can further include enhancers for the APIs, such as, moisturizers and anti-oxidants. The formulation is configured as an anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial formulation.

  • Publication number: 20250275916
Abstract: A medicated eyelid cleansing composition comprising a medicated scrub composition and an eyelid cleansing composition. The medicated scrub composition has one or more antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agents, including azithromycin and diclofenac sodium or dexamethasone phosphate. The medicated scrub composition can further include a combination of metronidazole and ivermectin. The composition is optimized for physiological compatibility and can be combined with a suitable substrate for use as a medicated eyelid cleanser.

  • Publication number: 20240216273
Abstract: Compositions for a viscous topical anesthetic for use in in-office treatments or surgical procedures are described. The compositions comprise a mixture of two anesthetic agents incorporated into a positively charged nanoparticle and suspended in a viscosifying solution. The described compositions increase the dispersion and absorption of the anesthetics.

  • Publication number: 20240009124
Abstract: An ophthalmic suspension contains a micro-fluidized positively charged nanoparticle incorporated into a viscous hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) base. Positive charges on the surface of the nanoparticle ensure dispersion within solution while the viscosity prolongs the contact time with the ocular surface.
