Abstract: A pet calming harness is designed to ease and alleviate an animal's fear and tension due to fright inducing and excitable activities such as thunder, lightning, etc. The therapeutic harness includes a combination neck collar and body strap which converge at an X-strap location above the scruff or nape of the animal's neck to provide gentle, but not binding, pressure on the animal in order to calm the animal.
