Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for protection against theft of personal items or accidentally forgetting them in public places. The idea is for the owner to carry a main Master device worn on the belt, the wrist, or any other convenient place. This Master device is in contact communication with smaller mobile Portable devices attached to all the personal items that need protection. When a Portable device is too far from the Master device, it is assumed to have been stolen, forgotten or left behind. Both devices have the capability of sounding an alarm. The wireless distance is adjustable and programmed via the user's menu on the Master device based on the individual need for each Portable device.
