  • Publication number: 20230037114
Abstract: A power supply device includes a power conversion circuit configured to convert an input voltage into an output voltage, a controller, and an output switch. The controller is coupled to the power conversion circuit and configured to control the power conversion circuit to generate the output voltage for causing electrical coalescence of a multi-phase liquid mixture when the output voltage is applied to the multi-phase liquid mixture. The output switch is coupled between an output of the power conversion circuit and a terminal of the power supply device. The output switch is switchable among a first position at which the output of the power conversion circuit is coupled to the terminal, a second position at which the output of the power conversion circuit is grounded, and a third position at which the output of the power conversion circuit is electrically isolated from the terminal and the ground.

  • Publication number: 20230034651
Abstract: Indexing preferences generally associate each data source with a type of indexing technology and/or with an index/catalog and/or with a computing device that hosts the index/catalog for tracking backup data generated from the source data. Indexing preferences govern which index/catalog receives transaction logs for a given storage operation. Thus, indexing destinations are defined granularly and flexibly in reference to the source data. Load balancing without user intervention assures that the various index/catalogs are fairly distributed in the illustrative backup systems by autonomously initiating migration jobs. Criteria for initiating migration jobs are based on past usage and going-forward trends. An illustrative migration job re-associates data sources with a different destination media agent and/or index/catalog, including transferring some or all relevant transaction logs and/or indexing information from the old host to the new host.

  • Patent number: 11567941
Abstract: A database system receives a query and determines that the query includes an inner join between a parent table and a child table. The database system determines that the following relationships exists between the parent table and the child table: referential integrity (“RI”) between a primary key attribute (pk) in the parent table and a foreign key attribute (fk) in the child table and a temporal relationship constraint (“TRC”) between a period attribute in the parent table and a TRC-attribute in the child table. The database system determines that the query satisfies non-temporal join elimination conditions and temporal join elimination conditions and that the query contains no other qualification conditions on the parent table's period attribute and eliminates the inner join when planning execution of the query.

  • Publication number: 20230024091
Abstract: To reduce power consumption, a user equipment (UE) may trigger a microsleep in a subframe when a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) does not include a downlink grant. However, because the microsleep depends on the PDCCH not including a downlink grant, the UE cannot trigger the microsleep until after the PDCCH is decoded. Accordingly, in some aspects, a UE may enable an aggressive extra microsleep in which a microsleep duration may be increased by reducing a PDCCH decode time. For example, a UE may use a stale channel estimate and noise estimate from a previous subframe to perform PDCCH demapping when conditions related to a PDCCH block error rate are satisfied. In this way, removing channel estimation and noise estimation from a PDCCH demapping path may reduce the PDCCH decode time, whereby the UE may trigger a microsleep sooner to increase a sleep ratio and thereby increase power savings.

  • Publication number: 20230026834
Abstract: Systems and methods for correlating a Notice to Airman (NOTAM) with a chart displayed on an avionic display in a cockpit of an aircraft. The method includes receiving a flight plan (FP); receiving a position and location of the aircraft; and, rendering an avionic display comprising a chart page or a NOTAM page. Responsive to receiving a NOTAM, the method determines whether the NOTAM is relevant. The NOTAM is relevant when the NOTAM is concurrently related to the FP and references a chart of a plurality of pre-loaded charts onboard the aircraft. Responsive thereto, a selectable visual indicator of the chart is rendered on the NOTAM page of the avionic display. The NOTAM is also relevant when it is related to a chart page displayed on the avionic display; responsive thereto, a selectable visual indicator of the NOTAM is rendered on the chart page displayed on the avionic display.

  • Patent number: 11562091
Abstract: Systems for low-latency data access in distributed computing systems. A method embodiment commences upon generating a first storage area in local storage of a first computing node. Access to the first storage area is provided through the first computing node. A second storage area is generated wherein the second storage area comprises a first set of metadata that comprises local storage device locations of at least some of the local storage areas of the first storage area. A set of physical access locations of the second storage area is stored to a database that manages updates to the second set of metadata pertaining to the second storage area. Accesses to the first storage area are accomplished by querying the database to retrieve a location of the second set of metadata, and then accessing the first storage area through one or more additional levels of metadata that are node-wise collocated.

  • Patent number: 11563472
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback to a base station indicating phase values for sub-bands in a bandwidth part (BWP). The base station may use the phase feedback to perform precoding on a set of beams. To support a reduced payload overhead for the feedback, the UE may implement differential phase feedback. For example, the UE may divide the BWP into a number of sub-band groups and may generate, for each sub-band group of each beam, a first set of bits indicating an absolute phase value for a first sub-band of the sub-band group. The UE may additionally generate a second set of bits indicating differential phase values for the other sub-bands of each sub-band group. The UE may report the first and second sets of bits for the beams to the base station for precoding.
