    Abstract: A raw mixture is provided for the production of a refractory high-alumina cement which consists of a calcareous component, an aluminous component and a chloride of at least one of the metals selected from the group consisting of magnesium, calcium, barium, strontium, sodium, potassium; the components are present in the raw mixture in the following amounts, percent by mass:aluminous component (calculated for Al.sub.2 O.sub.3): 69 to 73calcareous component (calculated for CaO): 11 to 23chlorides of said metals: 20 to 4.
