    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for adjustment of the clamping plate height in a curing press steam chamber. The height adjustability allows the clamping plate to be attached to different size tire molds to produce tires of different sizes in a single steam chamber. The device for adjustment of the height of the clamping plate in a steam chamber includes a plurality of hydraulic cylinders between the upper and/or lower part of the steam chamber and the clamping plate within the steam chamber.

  • Curing press withdrawing device

    Abstract: A tire withdrawing device for removing a tire from a mold chamber includes two rotatable blades. The blades are mounted on pins which are rotatable in bushings. Arms mounted on the pins are connected to a linear motor to rotate the blades for grasping of a finish tire during removal. The withdrawing device is use to grasp the tire as it is moved from the mold onto a conveying device for transporting the tire away from the mold.
