    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. In an embodiment, the water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes (A) an acrylic dispersion composed of particles of (i) an acrylic-based polymer with a glass transition temperature (Tg) less than -20° C., and (ii) a surfactant. The water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition also includes (B) an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) dispersion comprising (i) particles of an ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer having from 10 wt% to less than 50 wt% vinyl acetate comonomer, and (ii) a dispersant. Further disclosed are articles with the water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.
