  • Patent number: 10963870
Abstract: Technologies are generally described for methods and systems effective to secure process synchronized requests after at least one secure inter-device communication link between the originating and confirming communication devices is established. A method may include forwarding, by the confirming communication device the request and receiving, by a server, a first request from the originating device and at least one second request from the confirming device. The method may also include, by the server, determining a sequence of receiving of the first and the at least one second requests and processing the requests in order to authenticate a communication device, accept or reject a financial transaction, based on the receiving sequence and receiving time difference.

  • Patent number: 9813406
Abstract: Technologies are generally described for methods and systems effective to authenticate an invited device. In some examples, a method for authenticating an invited device may include receiving, by an evaluating device, a first message from the invited device. The evaluating device may receive the first message at a first receiving time. The method may also include receiving, by the evaluating device, a second message from the inviting device. The evaluating device may receive the second message at a second receiving time. A first sending time, of the first message, and a second sending time, of the second message, may be mutually synchronized. The method may also include determining a receiving time difference between the first receiving time and the second receiving time. The method may also include, by the evaluating device, authenticating the invited device based on the receiving time difference, the first message and the second message.

  • Patent number: 9513358
Abstract: The method and system for correcting motion-induced phase errors in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) use a phase shift of the non-phase encoded reference echo-signal accumulated during the diffusion-weighting in order to characterize bulk motion and tissue deformation and to compensate their effect for correcting the diffusion/perfusion-weighted image. The sequences unbalanced with respect to the first motion derivative are used for distinguishing the perfusion component. The MRI apparatus provides additional excitation resonance-frequency ranges for forming the reference echo signals.

  • Patent number: 8915241
Abstract: The invention relates to a radiant energy powered water heating methods and apparatus, particularly, to the open-loop solar radiation collection systems. At least one nozzle is directed against a reflection surface facing an evaporation surface to spray at least one jet with reflection to diffuse the fluid within the inner cavity in an atomized plume having the evaporation surface been moisturized by a part of the sprayed fluid and said moisturizing part of the sprayed fluid been sufficiently vaporized or evaporated (see FIG. 3).

  • Patent number: 8554769
Abstract: This specification describes technologies relating to providing search results. One aspect of the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods that include the actions of receiving a network resource, the network resource including text content; generating a language model score for the resource including applying a language model to the text content of the resource; generating a query stuffing score for the reference, the query stuffing score being a function of term frequency in the resource content and a query index; calculating a gibberish score for the resource using the language model score and the query stuffing score; and using the calculated gibberish score to determine whether to modify a ranking score of the resource.
