Patent number: 11962889Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces. In some examples, the electronic device transitions between user interfaces for capturing photos based on data received from a first camera and a second camera. In some examples, the electronic device provides enhanced zooming capabilities that result in visual pleasing results for a displayed digital viewfinder and for captured videos. In some examples, the electronic device provides user interfaces for transitioning a digital viewfinder between a first camera with an applied digital zoom to a second camera with no digital zoom. In some examples, the electronic device prepares to capture media at various magnification levels. In some examples, the electronic device enhanced capabilities for navigating through a plurality of values.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Johnnie B. Patent number: 11375314Abstract: An electronic device displays a user interface for controlling an audio mode for a wearable audio output device. While displaying the user interface, the device electronic outputs first audio using a first audio mode while displaying in the user interface a first indication that the first audio mode is used for the first audio. While displaying the user interface and outputting the first audio using the audio mode, the electronic device receives a request to switch to using a second audio mode. In response, the device outputs second audio using the second audio mode while displaying a second indication that the second audio mode is used for the second audio. While outputting the second audio using the second audio mode and displaying the second indication, the electronic device detects an input, and, in response, selects one of the first audio mode or the second audio mode the active audio mode.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Taylor G. Patent number: 10455146Abstract: An electronic device displays an image in a sequence of images. The sequence of images includes a representative image and images acquired by the camera before and after acquiring the representative image. While displaying the image, the device detects a first input and, in response, displays a user interface for trimming the sequence of images. The user interface includes: representations of images in the sequence of images; a begin-trim icon that delimits a beginning image in the subset of the sequence of images; and an end-trim icon that delimits an ending image in the subset of the sequence of images. The begin-trim and end-trim icons are located at positions that are automatically selected by the device. The device detects a second input and, in response, trims the sequence of images to the subset of the sequence of images based on the positions of the begin-trim and the end-trim icons.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2019Date of Patent: October 22, 2019Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Henrique D. Patent number: 9652125Abstract: An electronic device provides, to a display, data to present a user interface with a plurality of user interface objects that includes a first user interface object and a second user interface object. A current focus is on the first user interface object. The device receives an input that corresponds to a request to move the current focus; and, in response, provides, to the display, data to: move the first user interface object from a first position towards the second user interface object and/or tilt the first user interface object from a first orientation towards the second user interface object; and, after moving and/or tilting the first user interface object, move the current focus from the first user interface object to the second user interface object, and move the first user interface object back towards the first position and/or tilt the first user interface object back towards the first orientation.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2015Date of Patent: May 16, 2017Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Henrique D.
