Abstract: A system displaying bulk food items for sale in a public establishment includes a plurality of display units configured to be positioned on a support surface at the public establishment such that the plurality of display units are aligned along a plane that is parallel to the support surface. Each unit including a bottom supportable by the support surface, a top spaced from the bottom, and a side that extends between the top and the bottom. The system includes a plurality of containers supported by the top of at least one of the plurality of display units. Each container is configured to hold bulk food items and includes an access opening sized to permit removal of the bulk food items from the container.
