Abstract: A reinforced insulation jacket for a pipe includes a first jacket member and a second jacket member, each jacket member including a dimensionally stable, thermally insulating material having the shape of a semi hollow cylinder. Both the first jacket member and second jacket member have substantially identical cross sectional shape and are adapted to be joined to form a hollow cylinder, thereby enclosing the pipe to be insulated. A reinforcement member is located within the dimensionally stable, thermally insulating material body of at least one of the jacket members. This reinforcement member generally comprises a rod component and two end cap pieces. The end cap pieces generally are plastic, and rod component, in various embodiments, generally includes iron, steel, or a hard plastic, and generally is a rigid rod. The reinforcement member provides additional stiffness to the dimensionally stable, thermally insulating material body of the jacket member.

The mouldings (5, 6) are arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the carrier strips (2, 3). The insulating element (1) is of a basic continuous shape at least 1 meter long. Individual suspending or supporting sections can be cut off from this basic shape by means of a cutting device. The inner carrier strip (2) facing the pipe which is to be insulated is compression-flexible.

Abstract: A retainer apparatus for securing a bed liner to a pickup truck bed having either an inwardly or outwardly extending top bed rail. The pickup truck bed has a plurality of bed holes and the bed liner has a plurality of liner holes. The retainer apparatus includes a front tie-down ring retaining plate for positioning between the pickup truck bed and the bed liner. The front tie-down ring retaining plate has a first end and an opposing second end. The first end has at least one hole therethrough for alignment with one of the bed holes. The first end is secured to one of the bed holes. The second end has at least one hole therethrough for alignment with one of the holes in the bed liner. The second end secured is to the one of the holes in the bed liner. The apparatus also includes a rear tie-down ring retaining plate for positioning between the pickup truck bed and the bed liner. The front tie-down ring retaining plate has a first end and an opposing second end.
