  • Patent number: 9138126
Abstract: A conduit for a dishwashing appliance that is height adjustable and can accommodate different vertical positions of a rack assembly. One end of the conduit moves up and down with the rack assembly while maintaining a connection with e.g., a spray arm assembly suspended from the bottom of the rack assembly. The other end of the conduit remains in a relatively fixed vertical position during height adjustments so as to enable connection and reconnection at the fixed position of a main fluid supply conduit.

  • Patent number: 9119248
Abstract: Systems and methods of variably controlling a driver signal to a light emitting device located proximate to a burner assembly of an appliance are provided. The driver signal can be adjusted based on a signal indicative of a temperature in a region proximate the light emitting device. The signal indicative of a temperature of the burner assembly temperature can be generated by a temperature sensor or the signal can be based on an anticipated temperature profile of the burner assembly. The driver signal can be adjusted based on the signal indicative of the temperature of the burner assembly temperature using pulse width modulation.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 25, 2015
    Assignee: General Electric Company
Inventors: Payam Motabar, Paul Bryan Cadima, James Carter Bach
  • Patent number: 9109803
Abstract: A cooktop appliance is provided with features for directing light from a light source through a cooking surface of the appliance. The light source may be positioned below the cooking surface, and the features may be positioned adjacent the cooking surface such that the features direct light from the light source through the cooking surface. As a result, the visibility of light to a user of the appliance can be improved.
