  • Patent number: 8540254
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for the manual transport of objects/goods, preferably tables, beds and the like, which object comprises a flat-shaped part extending in the horizontal or vertical direction during use, wherein the transport of said objects takes place by means of a transport device comprising a platform (1), which at its bottom side is provided with at least three wheels (2) intended to enable movement/transport of the transport device with the platform (1) in a horizontal position, and which platform (1) at its upper side is provided with at least three supports (3, 4), and wherein the method implies that said object is turned, so that its flat-shaped part is positioned in a vertical position on the upper side of the platform (1) before the movement/transport, wherein, before the turning of the object is commenced, said supports (3, 4) are adapted in such a way that the platform (1) may be arranged at the object and thereafter turn said object 90°, wherein the platform (

  • Patent number: 8518123
Abstract: A system and method for the repair of damaged tissue and bones, congenitally missing tissue/cosmetic reconstruction of tissue is described. The system has a layered porous structure with a sufficiently large area of exposed pores to promote neo-vascularization as well as bone and tissue formation. The disclosed porous implant system can contain bioactive agents necessary for rapid tissue formation and keep ingrowth of unwanted tissue out of the implant surgical site. The implant can be reinforced with an additional, stronger polymer layer and/or may include an endoskeleton or exoskeleton for dimensional stability.

  • Publication number: 20060075175
Abstract: A system for selectively forming high-speed serial connections between various components of a network device that includes a multiplexing switch coupled a GE slot and to the high speed serial interfaces of a PHY and at least two network devices. The switch can be programmed to connect the serial interfaces of the two network modules to provide a high-speed, low-latency serial link between the two network modules. Alternatively, the serial interface of a network module can be connected to the GE slot to provide a high-speed, low-latency serial link between the network module and the GE slot.

  • Patent number: 4834624
Abstract: A pump assembly for delivering liquids or gases include a pump and an electromotor for driving the pump, the speed and/or torque of the electromotor being made variable by a static frequency converter. The frequency converter can be miniaturized by highly-integrated circuits and other provisions for a sufficient emission of dissipation heat. The frequency converter is arranged inside or on the pump assembly, forming a structural unit with pump assembly, and the dissipation heat of the frequency converter is emitted by the fluid delivered or to be delivered by the pump assembly, the fluid acting as dissipator.
