The wireless network gateway sink nomination system may calculate a traffic factor value for each of the plurality of gateways, based on the reply messages, received from with each gateway identify a most desirable sink gateway from the plurality of gateways, and transmit the identity of the most desirable sink gateway to the plurality of gateways for transmitting data bound for the cloud computing resource via the most desirable sink gateway.
