  • Publication number: 20240268395
Abstract: An antifungal composition showing broad antifungal activity includes at least one peptidic fragment with antifungal activity. The composition has a broad antifungal spectrum and could be used as a food, cosmetic, coating and/or paint, or to enhance the antifungal properties of other antifungal agents in these products, or any other application where broad antifungal activity is required. Several peptidic fragments and their possible modifications to ensure optimal activity are detailed. Methods for producing and formulating the antifungal composition are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11453274
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, with a vehicle computing system, global position system (GPS) data associated with a vehicle, determining a solar position relative to the vehicle, receiving trip information associated with the vehicle, and executing one or more vehicle actuators based at least in part on the GPS data, the trip information and the solar position relative to the vehicle. Determining the solar position can include determining a sun glare period during a future time period based at least in part on the trip information associated with the vehicle. The vehicle computing system may display a warning indicative of the sun glare period, generate a window tint command that causes the window to tint and/or generate a vent control command that causes the vent to change one or more of an airflow temperature, and an airflow velocity.

  • Publication number: 20210369858
Abstract: Provided herein are methods of using exosomes that function like minicells to deliver therapeutic agents to diseased or disordered cells. In particular, the exosomes can be targeted to particular areas of the body using growth factor gradients. These gradients also serve to trigger expression of proteins inside the exosomes, from transfected nucleic acids, at the desired target.
