  • Publication number: 20240118191
Abstract: A method for stratifying a patient infected with a respiratory disease is disclosed. The method comprises providing (1510) a fluid sample (9) from the patient, producing (1520) a light signal from a laser (1), illuminating (1530) the fluid sample (9) with the light signal through a lens in a sensing probe (8), acquiring (1540) a spectrogram from the fluid sample (9), extracting (1550) a plurality of spectrogram features from the light signal, comparing (1560) the extracted plurality of spectrogram features with a model in a database to determine a degree of severity of the respiratory disease. A result is then output (1570) to indicate the degree of severity of the respiratory disease.

  • Patent number: 10233702
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for cleaning or lubricating at least a connecting section of a drill rod element, with a housing, a channel-like recess and at least one washing means or lubricating means which is arranged along the channel-like recess. The channel-like recess is designed for horizontal insertion of at least a lower connecting section of the drill rod element when the drill rod element is substantially in vertical alignment. The invention further relates to a drilling rig with the said device for cleaning or lubricating.

  • Patent number: 8364401
Abstract: The navigation system described here utilizes GPS and Galileo satellite signals combined with Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), where a Coupled Antenna (CAN) provides both GNSS and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) data to a Highly Integrated GNSS-Inertial (Hi-Gi) receiver. Such receiver makes use of a high fidelity relation between GNSS unprocessed Correlator Output (COUT) I and Q data and the user trajectory, and inertial sensor data, which in turn are combined within a Kalman Filter (KF). The KF determines the navigation solution that is also used to provide feedback to the receiver demodulation signal processing stage, thus eliminating the need of dedicated structures such as Delayed Locked Loops (DLL) and Phase Locked Loops (PLL), allowing a significant improvement in navigation performance.
