  • Publication number: 20240155375
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to femtocells for wireless communication coverage. An example method includes receiving, by a first interface of a virtualized network function (VNF), first wireless data comprising a first identifier identifying a first type of wireless base station in a wireless environment, converting, by the VNF, the first identifier to a second identifier identifying a second type of wireless base station and at least one wireless base station of a plurality of wireless base stations in the environment, the at least one wireless base station being a virtual wireless base station instantiated by the VNF and configured to execute a set of functions to effectuate wireless communication in the environment, and transmitting, by a second interface of the VNF, second wireless data to a network function associated with a wireless core network and comprising the second identifier and at least a portion of the first wireless data.

  • Publication number: 20150288417
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and other embodiments associated with pairing network devices are described. According to one embodiment, a method is performed by a first network device on a data communication network. An identification signal is generated that identifies the first network device. A first transmission frequency is selected that minimizes cross-talk between neighboring wired communication channels of a bundle of wired communication channels. The identification signal is transmitted at the first transmission frequency to a second network device over a first wired communication channel of the bundle of wired communication channels. Pairing the first network device with the second network device is accomplished based on the identification signal. The first transmission frequency is changed to a second transmission frequency that is greater than the first transmission frequency to transmit data to the second network device, subsequent to the pairing, over the first wired communication channel.

  • Publication number: 20140122063
Abstract: The invention consists of a method and computing system for recording and analyzing the voice which allows a series of parameters of phonation to be calculated. These transmit relevant information regarding effects caused by organic disorders (which affect the physiology of the larynx) or neurological disorders (which affect the cerebral centers of speech). The classification methods are also considered an essential part of the invention which allow estimations of the existing dysfunction to be obtained and for the allocation of personality. The usefulness of the invention lies in the possibility of applying the dysfunction estimation in primary care service centers for patient screening to specialist care centers, simplifying examination protocols, saving costs and reducing waiting lists. This methodology can also be used for detecting the personality of a speaker by their voice, allowing access to installations or services.

  • Publication number: 20050101408
Abstract: A golf club head includes a balance weight for swing balancing the golf club. The balance weight is selected from a plurality of balance weights and mounted in a weight cavity formed in the golf club head. A cover, imprinted with information such as the club model designation, is mounted to the club head body so that it substantially covers the balance weight. By providing a single cover for each model of golf club, in combination with a plurality of weights that are interchangeable between golf club models, the total number of balance weights that must be maintained in inventory is significantly reduced.
