  • Publication number: 20240092257
Abstract: Disclosed are smart tail lights characterized in that they communicate variable braking intensity, which comprise control means capable of assessing the braking intensity exerted by a driver, such that, depending on the braking intensity, the rear brake lights illuminate in an increasing number, with increasing intensity or both correlatively, to minimize the possibility of a rear-end collision. The smart tail lights, with variable braking intensity and reverse lights, are formed by a braking intensity sensor, a modulation and control module, tail lights and electromechanical connections, the sensor having electromechanical means integrated into the brake circuit of the vehicle in order to detect the braking level, and the module having means for converting an electromechanical input signal into an electrical output signal for activating the rear brake lights.

  • Patent number: 11144707
Abstract: Various embodiments disclose a computer-implemented method that includes receiving, subsequent to a first font file being stored in read-only memory, a first font patch file for storage in read-write memory, where each of the first font file and the first font patch file is associated with a first font and includes a different set of glyphs used to render characters for display, and a first set of glyphs included in the first font file is static, determining that a first text string includes a first set of characters to be rendered, retrieving, from at least one of the first font file and the first font patch file depending on whether a first glyph is included in the first set of glyphs, the first glyph corresponding to a first character included in the first set of characters, and rendering a portion of the first text string using the first glyph.

  • Patent number: 9160819
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling a networked display via a client device are provided. The client device and the networked display are connected by a network. A session is initiated between the client device and the networked display, and a remote user interface is transmitted from the networked display to the client device. Interactivity with the remote user interface is detected at the client device, and input data is transmitted from the client device to the networked display based on the interactivity with the remote user interface. The input data is interpreted at the networked display so as to cause a change in a state of an application being executed by the networked display. And the remote user interface is updated based on the changed state of the application executed by the networked display.

  • Publication number: 20120258197
Abstract: Method for culturing resistant vineyards that selects indigenous vines, with natural stock, the fertilizer for which comprises local grasses/weeds, without other nutrients, harvesting being in the autumn. Fermentation method that is based on pressed grapes, in 20-25% of the vats, the wild yeasts thereof being produced and, in initial states, 3.5-6% vol. alcohol being achieved, with subsequent topping-up every 7-15 days; the total added sugar undergoes stepwise fermentation. Three different yeasts are obtained: white yeast (1), slow-growth yeast (2) and yellow yeast (3). Said yeasts make it possible directly to obtain high-quality beverages, such as cider, beers, cognacs, rums, vodkas, etc., with products having an alcohol content of up to 60% vol./vol. Fermentation also takes place with highly concentrated solutions of sucrose, molasses, sugars resulting from starch hydrolysis, and various plant materials. The production of bread, pastries and quality derived products is facilitated.

  • Publication number: 20120020736
Abstract: The present invention relates to the search for and choice of forest plants adapted to severe edaphological conditions in soils contaminated by pollutants, which plants are capable of surviving in most parts of the world and cannot enter the trophic chain. The genetic transformation thereof considerably enhances the metal absorption rate and storage capacity thereof and also makes it easier for said absorption to cover the majority of pollutants or harmful substances.
