  • Publication number: 20240191844
Abstract: A vessel includes a body that defines an interior space. The body includes a first metal surface, a second metal surface, and a non-metallic material crimped between the first metal surface and the second metal surface at a joint. The vessel further includes a pressure relief device coupled to the body. The pressure relief device is configured to vent contents of the vessel to an exterior of the body. Upon exposure of the vessel to a temperature for a period of time, the second metal surface is configured to expand or bend to create a pressure relief route from the interior space to the pressure relief device, between the first metal surface and the second metal surface, and/or the non-metallic material is configured to melt to create the pressure relief route.

  • Patent number: 11953154
Abstract: A vessel includes a body having an interior surface that defines an interior space. The vessel further includes a flexible membrane located within the interior space of the vessel. The interior space includes a first chamber at least partially defined by the flexible membrane, and a second chamber at least partially defined by the flexible membrane and a portion of the interior surface of the body. The vessel includes a pressure relief device configured to vent contents of the second chamber to an exterior of the body when the second chamber reaches a first predefined pressure. The flexible membrane is configured to tear or puncture when the first chamber reaches a second predefined pressure that is less than or equal to the first predefined pressure to prevent dangerously high pressures within the first chamber.

  • Patent number: 11393176
Abstract: A video is generated based on a user's interactions with an augmented reality (AR) client in an AR system. The AR system uses machine learning models to determine content within the images of the user's interactions (e.g., gameplay of an AR game) and the quality of the images (e.g., based on features of the images such as brightness, contrast, particular AR objects, behaviors of AR objects, etc.). A first machine learning model is applied to identify content within the images (e.g., the presence of an AR object). The AR system selects a first subset of the images to which the system applies a second machine learning model that classifies a quality score for each image. The AR system generates a video using a second subset of the image frames classified by the second machine learning model (e.g., a gameplay highlight video showing the user interacting with AR objects).

  • Publication number: 20210248826
Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) system hosted and executed on a mobile client enables surface distinction for AR objects to interact with multiple surfaces captured within a camera view of the mobile client. The AR system receives an image from a camera of a mobile client, where the image depicts planar surfaces. The AR system identifies clusters of feature points corresponding to respective planar surfaces and generates meshes from the identified clusters. The AR system generates a 3D virtual coordinate plane that includes the identified clusters and generated meshes that correspond to respective surfaces. The AR system determines a spatial relationship between identified surfaces (e.g., a height between surfaces). The AR system receives a user interaction based on the identified surfaces and provides an AR object for display at the mobile client based on the received interaction (e.g., an AR object traveling between identified surfaces).

  • Patent number: 9961243
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that generally involve a camera system including a high-quality lens which is selectively attachable to a mobile device, effectively replacing the mobile device's integral lens. The attachable camera system can leverage existing features of the mobile device, such as the display, battery, storage, and sharing functions, allowing the camera system itself to be a relatively simple, lightweight, portable, and inexpensive device. The ability to selectively attach and detach the camera system from the mobile device allows the camera system to be removed when it is desired to maintain the mobile device's favorable weight, size, and ergonomic characteristics. When high quality image or video capture or increased camera flexibility and functionality is desired, the camera system can be attached to the mobile device.
