  • Publication number: 20260196817
Abstract: A utility access system may include a utility access vault having a base, a plurality of sidewalls extending vertically upward from the base and connected together to define a cavity therein with an opening at a top thereof and a rim inside the opening. The system may also include a reversible cover configured to at least partially close the opening when received by the rim. The reversible cover may comprise a body having a first side and a second side, with the first side including a first mounting pattern corresponding to a first pedestal type, the second side including a second mounting pattern corresponding to a second pedestal type, and the second mounting pattern being different from the first mounting pattern. The reversible cover may be selectively positionable with either the first side facing upward to expose the first mounting pattern or the second side facing upward to expose the second mounting pattern.

  • Patent number: 9369543
Abstract: Synchronous and asynchronous communications between avatars is allowed. For synchronous communications, when multiple users are playing different games of the same game title and when the avatars of the multiple users are at the same location in their respective games they can communicate with one another, thus allowing the users of those avatars to communicate with one another. For asynchronous communications, an avatar of a particular user is left behind at a particular location in a game along with a recorded communication. When other users of other games are at that particular location, the avatar of that particular user is displayed and the recorded communication is presented to the other users.

  • Patent number: 9005029
Abstract: One or more physical characteristics of each of multiple users are detected. These physical characteristics of a user can include physical attributes of the user (e.g., the user's height, length of the user's legs) and/or physical skills of the user (e.g., how high the user can jump). Based on these detected one or more physical characteristics of the users, two or more of the multiple users to share an online experience (e.g., play a multi-player game) are identified.

  • Patent number: 7350517
Abstract: A tile saw guide apparatus comprising a right-angle triangle shaped guide body and an attachment structure. The right-angle triangle shaped guide body includes a tile receiving space accessible through a first non-hypotenuse edge of the right-angle triangle shaped guide body. A first tile engaging edge defining the tile receiving space extends substantially perpendicular to the first non-hypotenuse edge of the right-angle triangle shaped guide body. A second tile engaging edge defining the tile receiving space extends substantially perpendicular to a second non-hypotenuse edge of the right-angle triangle shaped guide body. The attachment structure is fixedly attached to the right-angle triangle shaped guide body. The attachment structure is configured for fixedly securing the guide body to a table of a tile saw and extends across the hypotenuse edge of the right-angle triangle shaped guide body.

  • Patent number: 5531037
Abstract: A water proportioning device for steam irons, has a valve (52) arranged between a water reservoir (1) and a steam-generating chamber (2). The valve includes a valve member (5) having a valve opening (7) and a valve pin (9) in sealing engagement within the valve opening (7) and provided with a longitudinal groove (15). The valve pin (9) is rotatable within the valve opening (7) and movable from a closed position into an open position and vice versa by a rotary motion. The valve member (5) includes a skirt (6) encompassing the valve pin (9) and having a radial opening (18). In the closed position, one end of the longitudinal groove (15) is within the skirt (6), while in the open position the end of the longitudinal groove (15) is in communication with the opening (18) in the skirt (6).
