  • Patent number: 12386844
Abstract: The subject technology provides for temporal reasoning. A system can receive contextual information from a plurality of data sources on an electronic device. The system can identify a predetermined pattern that is indicative of a particular activity in the contextual information within a time interval. The system can determine a confidence score for the particular activity based at least in part on one or more confidence values of a corresponding activity signal associated with the time interval. The system can update a graph-based data structure by adding a representation of the particular activity as a node to the graph-based data structure when a confidence score of the particular activity exceeds a confidence threshold. The system also can provide, for display on the electronic device, a user activity interface that provides access to an indexed collection of events organized by activity type by querying the graph-based data structure.

  • Publication number: 20250252134
Abstract: In some embodiments, reducing usage of cache memory in connection with user queries may be facilitated. In some embodiments, in connection with a first query, (i) a first set of results received during a user session and (ii) a first output generated from the first set of results are stored in a session cache associated with the user session. In response to determining that a second query parameter of a second query corresponds to a first query parameter of the first query but fails to satisfy a match criterion: a cache lookup is performed on the session cache to retrieve a matching result subset of the first set of results, in lieu of retrieving the first output generated from the first set of results, where the matching result subset does not include a result corresponding to the first query parameter. A second output is then generated.

  • Publication number: 20250249454
Abstract: Disclosed is a method to control and manipulate floating water droplets. More particularly, disclosed are the self-assembly and pattern formation of electrically charged water droplets that are floating at an oil-gas interface. Also shown is that the assembly occurs because of electrostatic interactions between the drops. It is shown that the depth of the oil bath plays a significant role in the distance between the drops assembled at the interface. The relevance of the type of the boundary containing the entire system is highlighted by showing that even drops with a net zero electric charge can self-assemble under certain conditions. Furthermore, disclosed are ways to control the motion and the assembly of the drops at an interface.

  • Publication number: 20250253259
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods to compensate for impedance and reduce crosstalk in integrated circuit packages are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a metal interconnect within a substrate of an integrated circuit package. The metal interconnect includes a contact pad in a first metal layer of the substrate and a via pad in a second metal layer of the substrate. The metal interconnect defines a conductive path for an electric signal that is to pass through both the contact pad and the via pad. The example apparatus further includes a conductive material having a length defining a segment of the conductive path between the contact pad and the via pad. At least a portion of the length of the conductive material extends along a course that corresponds and is adjacent to a portion of a perimeter of the contact pad.
