Abstract: A system for mid-fidelity simulation may include a memory configured to store data representing a flight scenario. The system may further include a display device configured to present a graphical user interface to a user, the graphical user interface including representations of a first set of control interfaces, the first set of control interfaces including one or more features that are common between multiple aircraft, the graphical user interface omitting one or more features of the first set of control interfaces that are not common between the multiple aircraft. The system may also include a processor configured to perform a simulation of the flight scenario while receiving user input and displaying user output via the representations of the first set of control interfaces.

Abstract: A device and a method for monitoring continuously the activity of a microphone and a speaker of an electronic communications device, filtering any emitted or received signal in the ultrasound frequency spectrum (signals ?17 kHz) and assessing whether the emitted or received signal is malicious or benign, in order to detect and avoid malicious transmissions established on the ultrasounds frequency spectrum. If a malicious transmission is detected, the user is alerted and can allow or deny said transmission. The device and method are a new concept of Information Technology defense systems that complements traditional antivirus.

An example method includes accessing multilateration data relating to a first aircraft using a time-difference-of-arrival determiner of a second aircraft; processing the multilateration data at the second aircraft to determine a calculated position of the first aircraft; comparing the calculated position of the first aircraft to an asserted position of the first aircraft stored at the second aircraft; and in response to the comparison, determining if the calculated position and the asserted position are within a threshold of one another using the time-difference-of-arrival determiner of the second aircraft to determine an authenticity of the first aircraft.
