  • Publication number: 20240008768
Abstract: An implantable catheter for medication delivery and analyte sensing is provided. In embodiments, a permanent catheter portion for use in an implanted delivery device, includes a permanent tube with an inner lumen, a sleeve attached to the permanent tube, the sleeve having outer coating that is at least one of: non-inflammatory or preventative of foreign body response. The permanent tube further includes an opening to receive a distal catheter portion that extends into the sleeve, such that the inner lumen of the permanent tube is fluidly connected to a distal inner lumen of the distal catheter portion.

  • Patent number: 10369079
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention involve a refill apparatus comprising at least one pump, a plurality of reservoirs, a plurality of reservoir fluid channels each associated with one of the reservoirs, a plurality of valves, each having a cracking pressure, for fluidically sealing the reservoir fluid channels and the outlet fluid channel, an outlet fluid channel fluidically connected to the reservoir fluid channels, and a needle having a lumen in fluid communication with the outlet fluid channel. A parameter such as a pressure level is monitored, and one or more pumps and various ones of the valves are actuated in accordance with a protocol comprising a sequence of steps whereby fluidic pathways are opened between different ones of the reservoirs and the needle in a washing and filling sequence, each of the steps being associated with an expected pressure level.

  • Patent number: 10300195
Abstract: A method of operating an infusion device that includes the steps of actuating a fluid transfer device, which is configured to deliver a predetermined volume during each actuation, in accordance with a delivery profile that includes a plurality of fluid transfer device actuations, determining, based on sensed pressure, whether an actual volume delivered during a fluid transfer device actuation is the predetermined volume, and adjusting the number of actuations in the delivery profile in response to the actual volume delivered differing from the predetermined volume.

  • Patent number: 10201654
Abstract: A programming device for an implantable drug pump includes a display device, a communication device, and a controller. The communication device is adapted to facilitate a communication link between the programming device and an implantable drug pump. The controller adapted to receive bolus data stored on the implantable drug pump when the communications link has been established, to process the bolus data, and to control the display device to generate a visual representation of numbers of bolus attempts for multiple periodic time intervals.
