  • Publication number: 20220209073
Abstract: A method for producing an optoelectronic component is described with the steps of providing monomeric structural units, providing nanoparticles in a liquid medium, mixing the monomeric structural units and the nanoparticles in the liquid medium so that a starting sol is formed, introducing an acid into the starting sol to adjust a pH value, at least partial condensation of the monomeric structural units to form a network, wherein the nanoparticles are at least partially covalently bonded to the network, so that a sol-gel material is formed, applying the sol-gel material to a semiconductor chip, curing the sol-gel material to form a coating material. Furthermore, an optoelectronic component is specified.

  • Publication number: 20120040099
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sedimentation-stable sol which, in addition to a copper(II) salt, also comprises at least one further metallic salt, an additive which is contained ensuring that the metallic salts contained in the sol remain dissolved or in dispersion. Furthermore, the sol is suitable in the method according to the invention for producing a metallic mixed oxide layer on a substrate, the metallic mixed oxide layer having a delafossite structure. Likewise, a substrate which has a metallic mixed oxide layer with a delafossite structure and also possibilities of use thereof are indicated according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 8079256
Abstract: In a gas sensor with at least two electrodes and with a sensor body which is connected thereto and is composed of a gas-sensitive material, in addition to pores which may already be present, second cavities are provided in the sensor body. The second cavities may be suitable on account of their size to facilitate and accelerate the distribution of gas molecules in the sensor body and to thus improve the time response of the gas sensor.

  • Publication number: 20090223412
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing stable suspensions of finely dispersed colloidal crystalline titanium dioxide particles, comprising the hydro-thermal treatment of aqueous molecularly disperse sol-gel solutions prepared from amorphous water-soluble precursor powders. The suspensions thus obtained can be used, inter alia, for the production of thin transparent crystalline layers.

  • Patent number: 6860933
Abstract: A sol-gel process for producing layers of zirconium oxide is described which comprises the following stages: (i) production of a soluble, zirconium-containing powder by: (a) reaction of a zirconium alcoholate of the general formula Zr(OR)4, in which the residues R are the same or different and represent straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl or alkenyl residues with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, which optionally exhibit one or more carbonyl and/or ester and/or carboxyl functions, with one or more polar compounds having complexing, chelating properties, (b) heating the solution, (c) mixing the solution with water, optionally in the presence of a catalyst, (d) concentrating the solution until a powder is obtained, (ii) dissolving the powder forming a sol, (iii) coating a substrate with the sol, and (iv) annealing the coated substrate.
