    Abstract: The safety system for backing up a motor vehicle contains a processing device, a switch device, and a brake control device. The processing device is connected with a gear position signal source so as to determine the motor vehicle's gear position, with a distance detection device so as to determine the presence of and distance to an obstacle along the motor vehicle's backing-up path, and with a speed detection device so as to determine the motor vehicle's speed. The processing device combines all the information and sends signals to the brake control device through the switch device to brake the motor vehicle in various manners. The driver in the meantime can be alerted about the potential hazard.

    Abstract: The auxiliary control system contains at least a first interaction device and a second interaction device that are capable of mutually detecting the presence of each other by a wireless means. The first interaction device is carried by a driver of a motor vehicle having a built-in anti-theft system, and the second interaction device is tapped into a Main Body ECU in parallel with the original control interface of the built-in anti-theft system. As such, when the driver carrying the first interaction device enters into or moves out of an effective sensing range from the motor vehicle, the second interaction device would detect the presence or absence of the first interaction device. The second interaction device then issues appropriate deactivating or activating signals to the Main Body ECU which in turn disarms or arms the various anti-theft means of the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: A tire detection apparatus detects the conditions of a tire of a vehicle and a host device controls a voice broadcasting device to make voice broadcasting of the result of detection. An operation device is also provided to allow for a driver of the vehicle to operate the apparatus. With the driver's operation of the operation device, the voice broadcasting device of the host device can timely broadcast the result of tire detection to the driver. A forced broadcasting mechanism is also provided, which helps eliminating the situation where a fault normal condition of the tire is incorrectly recognized by the driver due to unawareness of abnormality of the apparatus and thus improving driving safety.

Each end edge forms a cutoff. A cover board is openably closed to the top surface of the housing to expose an opening of the cutoff in the respective end surface. The opening allows the insertion of a tip of a hand tool, such as flat-ended screwdriver, to pry the cover board open. In this way, the cover board can be opened easily and efficiently without damage to the housing or the cover board.

    Abstract: A remote controller for automobile trunk is disclosed, wherein a frequency receiving host device is coupled to a device or component of an anti-burglary host device that is originally installed in an automobile by an automobile maker. The frequency receiving host device is connected by a cable to a driving motor for a trunk of the automobile and is set to receive the frequency of a user-operated remote-control transmitter originally provided by the automobile maker. The frequency receiving host device, after detecting a releasing operation initiated by a signal transmitted from the remote-control transmitter to the anti-burglary host device to release an anti-burglary system of the automobile, receives a continuously transmitted signal from the remote-control transmitter, which signal extends for a predetermined period of time, and consequently the frequency receiving host device issues a control signal through the cable to the trunk driving motor to open the trunk lid.

    Abstract: An assisting ejection device is provided for assisting ejection a hatch of a hatchback. The assisting ejection device includes spring-biased rod to act on the hatch. The spring is in a compressed condition when the hatch is closed so that when the hatch is released from the closed condition, the spring that is allowed to extend provides a springing force to help pneumatic cylinders that are originally provided to automatically lift the hatch to eject the hatch toward a flip-up position. The springing force effectively reduces the load applied to the pneumatic cylinders in opening the hatch so as to extend the service life of the pneumatic cylinders.
