    Abstract: A device and a method to detect unauthorized opening of a casing is disposed in the upper or lower casing of an apparatus. The device includes a base plate with vibrator, carrier, and sensor on the lower case, and receiving grooves. Balls of a lesser number than the number of receiving grooves are installed in the grooves in a predetermined arrangement by the manufacturer. A waveguide element and magnet, fixed on the upper casing, is in contact with the balls, and when the waveguide is vibrated, the number and locations of the balls govern the form of a setting signal derived therefrom at the factory. If the upper casing is separated from the lower casing, the waveguide element separates from the carrier, the magnetic element gathers the balls, the predetermined arrangement being thereby lost, when tested by an authorized repair engineer.

    Abstract: A super junction device with an increased voltage rating may be formed by decreasing the width of the P-type region and increasing the doping concentration, while also increasing the height of the overall device. However, instead of etching a trench in the N-type material to fill with the P-type material, a trench may be etched for both the P-type region and an adjacent N-type region. This allows the height of the overall device to be increased while maintaining a feasible aspect ratio for the trench. The P-type material may then be formed as a sidewall liner on the trench that is relatively thin compared to the remaining width of the trench. The trench may then be filled with N-type material such that the P-type region fills the space between the N-type regions without any voids or seams, while having a width that would be unattainable using traditional etch-and-fill methods for the P-type region alone.

The micro-pipes are fluidly coupled between the cold manifold and hot manifold to allow coolant flow between the cold manifold and the hot manifold. A coolant inlet supplies coolant to the cold manifold and a coolant outlet collecting coolant from the hot manifold.

Based on the first encoded information signal, the apparatus may enter into a first pairing state in which the apparatus is communicatively paired with the medical system. While the apparatus is operating in the first pairing state and within a threshold time of entering the first pairing state, the apparatus may detect a second pilot signal included in a second ultrasonic beacon transmission, which also includes a second encoded information signal. Based on the detection of the second pilot signal within the threshold time, the apparatus may continue operating in the first pairing state without decoding the second encoded information signal.

The linkage system is mechanically coupled to the mechanical switch, and moves between an unsecured configuration and a secured configuration in response to the mechanical switch moving between the unsecured position and the secured position. When the module is coupled to a computing device and the linkage system is in the secured configuration, the linkage system engages the computing device, such that the module is locked to the computing device. When the module is coupled to the computing device and the linkage system is in the unsecured configuration, the linkage system is disengaged from the computing device, such that the module is unlocked from the computing device.
