Publication number: 20240096498Abstract: A method for evaluating a risk of a subject getting a specific disease includes steps of: storing a reference database that contains original parameter sets; selecting target alleles from an SNP profile derived from genome sequencing data of a subject; selecting target parameter sets from among the original parameter sets; calculating, for each of the target parameter sets, a race factor based on a global risk allele frequency and a group-specific risk allele frequency included in the target parameter set; calculating a genetic factor based on statistics, global reference allele frequencies, the race factors for the target parameter sets, and numbers of chromosomes in homologous chromosome pairs included in the target parameter sets; calculating a citation factor based on numbers of citation times included in the target parameter sets; and calculating a risk score based on the genetic factor and the citation factor.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Yi-Ting CHEN, Sing-Han HUANG, Ching-Yung LIN, Xiang-Yu LIN, Cheng-Tang WANG, Raksha NANDANAHOSUR RAMESH, Pei-Hsin CHEN

Publication number: 20240096781Abstract: A package structure including a semiconductor die, a redistribution circuit structure and an electronic device is provided. The semiconductor die is laterally encapsulated by an insulating encapsulation. The redistribution circuit structure is disposed on the semiconductor die and the insulating encapsulation. The redistribution circuit structure includes a colored dielectric layer, inter-dielectric layers and redistribution conductive layers embedded in the inter-dielectric layers. The electronic device is disposed over the colored dielectric layer and electrically connected to the redistribution circuit structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd.Inventors: Chun-Ti Lu, Hao-Yi Tsai, Chia-Hung Liu, Yu-Hsiang Hu, Hsiu-Jen Lin, Tzuan-Horng Liu, Chih-Hao Chang, Bo-Jiun Lin, Shih-Wei Chen, Hung-Chun Cho, Pei-Rong Ni, Hsin-Wei Huang, Zheng-Gang Tsai, Tai-You Liu, Po-Chang Shih, Yu-Ting Huang

Publication number: 20100212378Abstract: An electric steering lock for a motorcycle includes a housing, a transmission assembly, a spindle, and a circuit board. The transmission assembly has an actuator, a first gear, a second gear and a sliding block each arranged within the housing in transmissive engagement with each other. The spindle is assembled with the sliding block and acts in the second space. The circuit board is arranged on the bottom of the housing. The primary control chip of the motorcycle controls the circuit board to make the transmission assembly to drive the spindle to move accordingly. The sliding block touches an inner wall of the casing to make it unable to move forwards or backwards any more. The current of the actuator at this time is larger than that in its normal operation. The rotation of the actuator is ceased by the circuit board when a variation in current of the actuator is detected by the circuit board.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2009Publication date: August 26, 2010Inventors: Pei-Ting Chen, Chong-Guang Chen, Zhi Wen Hou, Wei-Chun Lin, Chun-Yi Sun

Publication number: 20100206020Abstract: An electric steering lock for a motorcycle includes a housing, a transmission assembly, a spindle, a set of sensors and a circuit board. The transmission assembly has an actuator, a first gear, a second gear and a sliding block each arranged within the housing in transmissive engagement with each other. The spindle is assembled with the sliding block and acts in the housing. A primary control chip of the motorcycle controls the circuit board to make the transmission assembly to drive the spindle to move accordingly. The circuit board determines that the spindle is locked and reaches a predetermined position if the sliding block presses the front sensor, and the circuit board determined that the spindle is unlocked and reaches a predetermined position if the sliding block presses the rear sensor.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2009Publication date: August 19, 2010Inventors: Pei-Ting Chen, Chong-Guang Chen, Zhi Wen Hou, Wei-Chun Lin, Chun-Yi Sun

Patent number: 7605807Abstract: A control circuit for balancing current in a thin display device includes a light source, a power supply, and a control part. The light source includes a plurality of parallel light-emitting diode (LED) rows. The LED row includes at least one LED and a switch unit. The switch unit is in series connection with the LED. The switch unit has two working conditions, one is on and the other is off, to determine whether the current passes through the LED row. The power supply provides a working power for the LEDs. The control part detects the currents of the LED rows, controls the on-state timing ratio of the switch unit and controls the output power of the power supply.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2006Date of Patent: October 20, 2009Assignees: Coretronic Corporation, Young Lighting Technology CorporationInventors: Pei-Ting Chen, Chih-Tsan Huang, Tzu-Shou Kuo

Patent number: 7374316Abstract: A backlight module comprises a baseboard, at least one light-emitting element and a heat-dispersing member. The baseboard has at least one through-hole. The light-emitting element is installed in one of the through-holes and is electrically connected to a surface of the baseboard. The heat-dispersing member adjacent to the baseboard can contact the light-emitting elements directly.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2006Date of Patent: May 20, 2008Assignees: Coretronic Corporation, Young Lighting Technology CorporationInventors: Tzu-Shou Kuo, Pei-Ting Chen

Publication number: 20070075217Abstract: A backlight module includes a base, a light source unit, a light guide unit, a light sensor unit, and a controller. The base confines a receiving space. The light source unit is disposed in the receiving space. The light guide unit extends into the receiving space for guiding a portion of light emitted by the light source unit outwardly from the receiving space. The light sensor unit is disposed outside the receiving space to receive the portion of the light guided by the light guide unit, and is operable so as to generate an electrical output signal corresponding to the light sensed thereby. The controller is disposed outside the receiving space and connected electrically to the light source unit and the light sensor unit, and controls operation of the light source unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2006Publication date: April 5, 2007Applicant: CORETRONIC CORPORATIONInventors: Tzu-Shou Kuo, Pei-Ting Chen
