The method includes: displaying a first user interface of a first application; displaying a first floating window on the first user interface, the first floating window being configured for displaying a second user interface of a second application; and displaying a second floating window on the first user interface when a text input operation signal from the second user interface is received, wherein the first floating window and the second floating window are displayed concurrently, and the second floating window is configured for displaying an input method interface.
