  • Publication number: 20230141209
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method (10) for detecting an oil slick in a target image acquired by a spaceborne or airborne radar, wherein said method comprises: a phase (T1) of training a convolutional network using a set of training images, the set of training images comprising training images without oil slicks and training images with oil slicks, a phase (T2) of predicting the presence or absence of an oil slick on the target image by applying the convolutional network on said target image, wherein the phase (T1) of training of the convolutional network uses a loss function which combines a weighted-cross-entropy loss function and a Jaccard loss function.

  • Publication number: 20210080598
Abstract: The method acquiring a ground seismic dataset over a region of interest by defining a geometry of acquisition of the seismic dataset specifying a location of a plurality of seismic sources and a location of a plurality of seismic receivers, inducing a seismic signal with at least one first seismic source of the plurality of seismic sources, and measuring the corresponding ground vibrations induced by the at least one first seismic source with the plurality of seismic receivers to obtain a first seismic dataset. Then processing the first seismic dataset and modifying the geometry of acquisition of the first seismic dataset by specifying a location of at least an additional seismic source and/or a location of at least an additional seismic receiver, based on analyzing the processed first seismic dataset.

  • Patent number: 10908305
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for evaluating a geophysical survey acquisition geometry over a region of interest. The method comprises determining a location of a plurality of base camps in respect of a determined minimal surface density of base camps, determining a first set of locations of a plurality of receivers in respect of a determined minimal surface density of receivers, generating a first synthetic geophysical dataset based on the first geophysical survey acquisition geometry, processing the first synthetic geophysical dataset for obtaining a first simulated image of the subsurface of the region of interest using a geophysical processing algorithm and an a priori subsurface model, and calculating a first objective function dependent of at least a first quality index of the first simulated image of the subsurface of the region of interest.
