  • Patent number: 9965653
Abstract: A trusted computing device (TCD) includes an isolated environment, host interface, secure interface, and program instructions. The environment includes an isolated environment processor (IEP), memory (secure and non-secure partition), and an auxiliary processor (AP). Memory and AP are connected for data communication with the IEP, and communicate with a host only through the IEP. The host interface and each secure interface are connected for data communication with the IEP.

  • Patent number: 9935949
Abstract: Embodiments are provided for mutually authenticating a pair of electronic devices. According to certain aspects, the electronic devices may connect to each other via an out-of-band communication channel. The electronic devices may each output audio signals and detect audio signals output by the other electronic devices. Based on timestamps associated with audio output and detection events, each of the electronic devices may calculate relevant time and distance parameters, and transmit the calculated parameters to the other electronic device via the out-of-band communication channel. The electronic devices may compare the calculated parameters to determine mutual authentication.

  • Publication number: 20050157662
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for monitoring data transmissions on a network and detecting compromised networks. The systems and methods monitor communications involving network hosts and analyze the communications in view of the business function of the hosts. In certain embodiments the analysis is performed by associating a set of rules of operation for the sessions, hosts, and/or environment, and analyzing data packet transmissions to ascertain violations of the rules.
