The method includes: controlling the battery core to supply electric power to the heating element at a first power when an inhalation starting signal is obtained, so that a temperature of the heating element increases from an initial temperature to a preset temperature, where the preset temperature does not enable at least one component of the liquid substrate to volatilize; controlling the battery core to supply the electric power to the heating element at a second power, so that the temperature of the heating element increases from the preset temperature to an atomization temperature, where the second power is greater than the first power.

The aerosol generation device includes: a housing, having an inlet, where the inlet is configured for at least part of an aerosol generation product containing an inhalable material to be removably inserted into the aerosol generation device; a heater, arranged in the housing and configured to heat the inhalable material in the aerosol generation product to generate an aerosol; and a heat transfer element, where at least part of the heat transfer element is arranged between the inlet and the heater. The heat transfer element is configured to come into thermally conductive contact with at least part of a surface of the aerosol generation product and transfer partial heat of the aerosol generation product when the aerosol generation product is inserted into the aerosol generation device. Hence, the partial heat of the aerosol generation product is transferred through the heat transfer element.

    Abstract: An aerosol generating device including a housing of which is provided therein with a cavity for receiving a smokable material; a holding mechanism for holding the smokable material in the cavity along the radial direction and an infrared emitter located outside the cavity along the radial direction to radiate infrared rays to heat the smokable material. A distance between an inner surface of the infrared emitter and the central axis of the cavity is larger than the shortest distance between the holding mechanism and the central axis of the cavity, so that a certain space is maintained between the smokable material and the inner surface of the infrared emitter when the smokable material is received in the cavity, thereby preventing the infrared emitter from heating the smokable material by contact conduction.
