  • Patent number: 6557862
Abstract: Four wheel in-line skate, having a half-boot type inner footwear portion and an outer rigid portion made up of a first tip front portion and a second rear portion surrounding ankle and heel. Within the first and second portions are housed the inner footwear portion. The first front portion and the second rear portion of the skate are fixedly coupled each other by a flexible coupling of the lamina or spring kind, provided in correspondence of the underlying portion of the same in such a way to allow their movement and the automatic return to an alignment position. The front and rear portions are provided with vertical elements, perpendicularly provided with respect to the plane of the skate, provided at least partially one within the other, and within each one of couples of vertical elements wheels are provided, connected with the same by pins.

  • Patent number: 5713162
Abstract: An aseismatic system for constructions such as buildings, bridges, tanks and like comprising abutment/decoupling means for the deck structure from the piers or for the building from its foundation as well as return means for resisting any relative displacements between the deck structure and the piers or between the building and its foundation, which is based upon the principle to prevent the bridge or the building to be subjected to the seismic effects caused by the deck structure mass by decoupling the construction on the horizontal plane by means of said multi-directional movable abutment means, with nearly null resistance to sliding movements and by means of a connection between the deck structure and its abutment members based upon a swinging device adapt to exert a predetermined action of constant value.

  • Patent number: 4720882
Abstract: An antiseismic stop device for girder structures of bridges, viaducts and the like, in which said girder structure is simply resting on the piers, said device comprising separate stop means, one for each girder structure, respectively at a point corresponding to the movable girder and to the fixed girder, said means being placed centrally with respect to the intrados of the girder structure, and providing both means that are integral with the girder structure and means that are integral with the head of the pier, said means being coupled so that they can run through pin means and forming as a whole a member which is capable of absorbing the relative motions between the girder structure and the pier both in the static and the dynamic condition, and of counteracting the seismic shock just at the very moment it first surges up.
