  • Patent number: 9428107
Abstract: An electroplating light-transmissive decoration panel for a rear license plate, configured with a plurality of accepting grooves on a framework for the accommodation of corresponding LED light boards of a light emitting module; a letter plate with hollowed-out graph-typed and/or letter-typed slots are covered in front of the LED light boards; a cover is made of a light transmissible material, the surface thereof being treated by means of sputter coating to form a sputter coating film, and coupled to the framework with fixing elements and then mounted above the rear license plate; a power line extended from the light emitting module is connected to a power source of a tail light. Whereby, when the decoration panel is not energized, the surface can display a highly textured electroplating matte effect, and when energized, light from the LED light boards passes through the letter plate to show preset graphs and/or letters.

  • Patent number: 7617174
Abstract: A method and system for automatic service composition is disclosed, wherein a service registry stores a plurality of service specifications received from at least one service provider in a service repository, and receives service requests from service requestors. A composition engine of the service registry can automatically generate a series of actions from service specifications stored in the service repository according to the service request, and then passes those actions to the service requestor for being processed. In order to facilitate the preceding procedure of automatic composition, the composition engine pre-processes service requests and service specifications, and declares suitable new objects. The composition engine also post-processes the planning resolution generated by the planning module for translating the format of the planning resolution into a processing language, and finally passes the resolution to a processing engine of the service requestor for being processed.

  • Patent number: 7171350
Abstract: A method for named-entity (NE) recognition and verification is provided. The method can extract at least one to-be-tested segments from an article according to a text window, and use a predefined grammar to parse the at least one to-be-tested segments to remove ill-formed ones. Then, a statistical verification model is used to calculate the confidence measurement of each to-be-tested segment to determine where the to-be-tested segment has a named-entity or not. If the confidence measurement is less than a predefined threshold, the to-be-tested segment will be rejected. Otherwise, it will be accepted.

  • Publication number: 20050197838
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for text-to-pronunciation conversion capable of increasing the accuracy by re-scoring graphemes likely to be tagged erroneously. Grapheme segmentation and phoneme tagging are first applied to an input word to generate at least one grapheme-phoneme pair sequence, and the score of each grapheme-phoneme pair sequence is also computed. Then, at least one grapheme-phoneme pair sequence having a higher score is selected. For the selected grapheme-phoneme pair sequence that has a grapheme likely to be tagged erroneously, the features in the context of the grapheme are selected and made good use of computing re-score corresponding to the graphemes likely to be tagged erroneously, so as to re-score the grapheme-phoneme pair sequence. Accordingly, the grapheme-phoneme pair sequence with the highest score is the final conversion result.
